Return & Exchange Policy

1. Made‑to‑Order Philosophy

Every Misheard Tee is printed just for you the moment you click “Buy.” This keeps waste, and prices low, but it also means we can’t pop returned items back on a warehouse shelf. Our policy below balances that reality with a commitment to fix any mistakes fast.


2. What’s Covered (30 Days)

• Printing defects or damage in transit

Examples: misaligned graphic, wrong color, holes, tears, ink smudges.

• One‑time size exchange

Ordered the wrong size? Send the unworn, unwashed tee back to us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll reprint the same design in a new size. You pay return shipping; we cover the fresh print and ship it back to you once.


3. Not Covered (Final‑Sale Items)

  • Change‑of‑mind / buyer’s remorse, because each shirt is custom‑printed.
  • Items returned washed, worn, deodorant‑stained, perfumed, or visibly altered.
  • Orders reported more than 30 days after delivery.

4. How to Start a Return or Exchange

  1. Email us: help@misheardtees.com within 30 days.
  2. Include your order # and clear photos of the issue (if defective) or state the new size you need.
  3. We’ll reply within 1–2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) number and simple shipping instructions.

Important: Keep the original mailer until you’re sure you love the fit, it’s perfect for sending items back.


5. Return Shipping

  • Defects: We cover everything. We’ll either issue a prepaid label or reimburse standard shipping costs once we receive a receipt.
  • Size exchanges: You’re responsible for sending the original shirt back. We’ll ship the replacement on us.

Important: Returns without an RA number may be refused and returned to sender.


7. Refunds & Replacements

  • Defects: Choose between (a) a free replacement or (b) a full refund to your original payment method once the return is inspected.
  • Exchanges: We’ll automatically create a new order for the replacement size and send you updated tracking.
  • Store credit: At our discretion we may issue a Misheard Tees gift card instead of a refund.

Please allow 3–5 business days after we receive your item for inspection and processing.


8. International Orders (Coming Soon)

We currently ship only within the United States. International orders placed via freight forwarders are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
